Another needed thread, here's a fave clip as the wine bottle to the ship, The Who, Amazing Journey/Sparks from Woodstock as filmed by a wonderful gentleman on the side of the stage with a portable videocamera:

Here's my fave band of current times called Au Revoir Simone. Saw them live a few weeks ago and it was like watching 3 angels from heaven. But instead of harps they had Korgs and Rolands.

That Who clip melted my face off.

Here's an impossibly cool Pentangle performing Travelling Song in 1968:

If someone only had 3 minutes to be convinced of Pentangle's greatness, that's the clip i'd use. Amazing band chemistry there - Danny Thompson is especially cool

Oh yeah. Great clip. There's a surprisingly large number of really, really good Pentangle clips on YouTube. This is my favorite one, of "Light Flight."

John Entwistle - Won't Get Fooled Again from "The Kids Are Alright" (Bass track isolated:

If you are a bassist, or just anybody who wants to study a master at work, watch this. To me, it's like the gospel of the four-string. He's so incredibly technical at it, without ever getting clinical. It's what I strive for myself when I play. Amazing.
